器材 24-70mm or 17-35mm

i have a 70-200mm f2.8, so should i consider 17-35mm or 24-70mm, if i only have $1500?

Looks like you are not with full frame, then go for 17-35.
If you plan to upgrade to full frame sooner or later, go for 24-70 if you don't shot super wide. or 16-35 II.

thank you for the advice.
i am planning to upgrade my D80. with the D800 still in mystery, i probably will go with D700 during christmas. so as your suggestion, i should buy 24-70, right (i don't need to shoot super wide picture)?

Actually, both lens are FX lens. The 17-35 is a famous Nikon signature among all the wide angle lens. If you don't need the super wide angle, just need a general workaround lens, then go ahead with the 24-70.

I would say 24-70, it is my current lens for all purpose shooting, even though mine is nikon

I did not realize you are with Nikon. sorry for mistaken suggesting 16-35 that is Canon.

since you will go for full frame, then 24-70 would be your first choice as victor098 and william06 said. You won't be regret having the gem.

I didn't realize you are with Nikon either. Nikon D700 + Nikkor 24-70, hey, man, that's my gear, check out the following link of my pictures here, all shot with this combination.

这个取决你用什么样子的滤镜头和你的预算，价格差别很大。从牌子上说，比较有名的有B+W，TIFFANY，LEE等等。

我用的是B+W multi-coated, 价格相对较高，但是质量很好。multi-coated可以最大限度的阻止玄光，B+W也是业内做的较好的牌子。

Rodenstock的滤镜也不错，就是价格也比较贵。

个人在用B+W的F PRO 010 UV和KENKO的ZETA protector.

效果都不错，感觉UV只要别买太便宜的都挺好的。
