工作【求助】怎样要回最后2个月的工资

我在4月底被lay-off了，是因为公司要被收购，而我当时已经怀孕了，但是因为要搬到比较远的地方，所以也同意了。但是我在3、4月份的工资现在还要不回来。3月份的工资给过我2张pay cheque，但是都是insufficient funds。我已经在劳工部的网站上填了表了，但据说那要等好长时间，有没有其他的方法呢？多谢各位帮忙！

如你怀孕,不应被lay-off, 但是你因为要搬到比较远的地方而愿意被lay-off,就没办法. 任何纠纷,都是劳工部.

那我还有望要回我的工资么？因为听说只要老板申请破产，他的财产最后才会考虑员工的工资问题。

这也要看老板的情况, 前年多伦多有一家旅行社就欠工资, 到后来老板跑了. 不知道最后拖欠的工资有没有拿回?

If the company went bankruptcy, the creditors have the priority to get the assets. You probably won't get the money back unless the company really has much money left. Next time, stop working immediately after check bounces.

第一位的是归还所欠的税款,叫security creditor;
第二位才是员工,叫priority creditor,不超过$2000.00
