My friend got divorced with her husband just before they landed Canada (but after thet got the landing immigrant paper). They are all in Canada now, but live seperately. They did not declear this marrage status change to the immigration agency. Do you know if it is illegal? Thanks.

既然你的女朋友在国内就已经离婚了，她现在还想干什么？重新在加拿大在申请一次离婚？然后敲诈一些财产和生活费？

如果他们已经有离婚证书，让你女朋友放弃这个想法。如果没有，离婚证书，你的女朋友倒是可以试试！

这个肯定是illegal的，登陆前没有通知加拿大政府改变婚姻状态就是违法了。如果还想结婚，大概要在这边离一次婚了吧？

Technically,it's "illegal". Your friend should tell the immigrant agency before she landed Canada.

She wants to devoice again to correct this mistake, but her husband does not. Probably because he does not want to surport my fiend and their child. Actually she does not care about this. She just want to get rid of him legally and live a peaceful life. So what can she do in this case?

可以单方面在加法院提出离婚诉讼.
