开学前要住进新房子（8月末），怎样给孩子转学校呢？办手续大概需要几天？先到原来的学校取孩子的档案还是先到要转学的学校去办手续？还有学校是9月6日开学，我应该什么时间去办这些手续才能孩子正常入学呢？学校的老师们是几号开始上班？？多谢！

Registration office 会提前几天上班的，你可以提前 do your registration， 记得带齐所需的证件。

Go to the school office that your child will go, and get a registration form. Also ask them some info. regarding lunch program, school bus schedule....
After that, inform the current school that your child will move to anther school in fall. They will transfer school records to the new school for you.
Normally, school registration starts in May or June, it will show on a school news letter.
You'd better give new school a call to confirm the better time to register.
