It means if you want to build or repair your home for re-sale or rental purposes. you can not get the Homeowner electric permit. But if you want to use it by yourself. That is no problem. So when you apply for the permit, you want to use it by yourself and you can get the permit. And later. you change your mind and want to rent it or sell it. It is no problem at all. This is just the limitation for getting the permit. If you already have the permit and pass the inspecation. you can rent it or sell it for sure. |

You are totally wrong. I dodn't know who you are talking to. I just make a call to City of Calgary ( phone number is 268-5311, get this number from the website). They confirm that If I get the permit and pass all the inspection. I can sell my house legally. That is no problem at all. 我认识的人,自己装修了好几套地下室,再卖掉,连申请多没有,他说除了税收不同外,感觉不出不同。但是我提醒他们关于保险一档,万一不符合CODE的接线引起火灾,那么保险公司会借故减少甚至拒绝赔偿,那是大问题。 至于蚂蚁的问题,没什么关系,如果政府说你接线不能SALE,那你马上DISCONNECT所有地下室去面板的连接,COVER掉插座等,改正了就没有问题了。(此问题还要进一步求证) |

They confirm that I can sell my house legally without any change because I get the permit and pass all the inspection. even you didn't get the permit, you still can sell your house. but you have to disclose this information otherwise the buyer can ask for compensation. The worse thing is you need to pay some money to the city of calgary and pass the inspection. There are no reasons that you can not sell your house. |
