本人在eBay做了几年,也算有点经验,最近看到大家对eBay的生意很感兴趣,特写点东西与大家分享,只是个人心得,对错大家包涵.
关于eBay:
关于eBay的基本信息,大家可能知道很多,我不想多说,只是想强调一点,现在eBay已经不在是简单的二手交易市场了,它更是面向全球的交易平台,当然,现在主要客户群还是在美国.
谁是eBay卖家的客户?
大家可能会说:肯定是最终用户啦?也对,也不对.以我看,eBay的客户主要有两类:1,最终用户;2,SMALL BUSINESS OWNER(RESELLER);这第一类可能还不是最大的客户群,真正有购买力的是第二类.他们起到一个eBay和最终用户的中间人角色.
谁是eBay的卖家?
也有几类:1,最终用户,把自己不用的东西放在上边卖;2,生产厂家或者中间经销商;3,杂货处理商,主要指从大商店或厂家回购换退货,在eBay上拍卖.
如何操作?
有了以上基本信息,大家就可以分析分析如何操作了.
先看消费者,就是eBay商家的顾客.我没有具体数据,只是自己的经验,主要客户是小生意经营者,他们再eBay上买到自己没有的货物,然后卖给自己的LOCAL客户,对他们来说,eBay是个大的批发商,不用付帐户费还能买到物美价廉的好东西,有点风险也没什么.这类客户的特点就是:有经验,熟悉eBay的操作,好多自己也在eBay卖东西,跟LOCAL的客户一样,他们也很注重你的货物品质和供货能力.
最终用户也很多,他们主要是解决当地购买不方便在选择网上购物的,所以价格和相关商场的物理存在很关键,有没有固定场所,有没有联系电话等都是他们考虑的因素.
消费者有了,就要看你的货物了.根据你的货物不同,你要有不同的销售策略.有人会说了,这还有什么策略?价格设定了,等人来买就是了.但是我感觉还是有策略的,一样的生意,有的人价格低,但是并不一定卖的好;有的价格高一样生意兴隆.几乎同样的东西,有人拍出的价格很低,卖家都不能接受,有的拍出的价格比好多LOCAL的商家卖的都高.
卖货时,主要有两种方式:拍卖和BUY IT NOW.前者适用于比较流行的东西,大家比较了解,一看就能知道是什么东西,值多少钱,可比性比较强的货物;或者是自己想尽快处理掉的货物.后者则象一般的网络商店一样,定价待卖.在每一种销售方式中,又有很多LIST的选项和时间的设定,这些选项的取舍和时间的设定才是eBay销售的最具挑战性的地方,但是也最需要你自己亲自实践的地方,别人是没办法教的.
你手头有自己的货物,就可以分析自己的用户应该是哪一类,对应不同类别的客户,选择不同的销售方式和选项设定,然后就可以等待生意上门了.如果生意不好或者长期没有生意,就要考虑调整策略了.
有一点感觉要说明一下:在eBay做生意,也是需要广告投入的,跟LOCAL的生意思路没什么太大差别.
对于eBay上的Trading Assistants,如果你要是暂时处理几件物品,可以使用;如果你相信对方,愿意保持长期合作关系,而你自己有没有精力来亲自做,你也可以选择一个自己信的过的来合作.但是如果自己想操作EBAY的生意,建议不要让别人做.Trading Assistants带给你的不仅仅是他(她)的FEEDBACK,更主要的是操作的思路和方法.

默认 没有国内发货到这边的经验,不好乱说.

请教:可否在这里开户销售,由国内发货?是否到货时间太长了,用户不会满意?邮寄成本也高?本人没有任何ebay经验。
个人感觉不可行.
这边市场主要是美国市场,好多美国老都不愿意和加拿大人做生意,何况北美以外的.况且谁相信你能邮寄出?什么时候邮寄出?
话说回来,为什么要这样做呢?完全可以自己进点货先实验一下吗.

默认 你比较一下美国卖方有多少比例愿意SHIP到加拿大的就知道了.

哦?美国人不愿意和加拿大人网上做生意?
一过海关就是很多的PAPER WORK,有时运费也把握不住,他们多不少麻烦.
但是加拿大这边就没办法了,虽然麻烦增加了,也得做,美国客户还是多.

ebay是用paypal收附款的吧?
把卖东西得到的钱,转入自己的
银行账号上,不太容易吧?

有什么巧妙没有?
现在PAYPAL是主流,方便,快,收费低.很容易转如自己的银行帐户.只是在加拿大需要换成加元才能转出,转换时PAYPAL收大约2.5%的手续费.这也没办法的事情,信用卡公司也是收钱.

所以怎么进货也不是太清楚.坛子里有不少做进出口的,他们能知道.

我在EBAY上也做过一百多笔交易了,感觉,顾客主要是美国人,钱多,爽快,守信用。从来没有拍下不买或拍后来信议价的现象,大家交易很愉快。而加拿大人,咳,正好相反,不说也罢。
Canadian likes cash deal, especialy the buyers who dig cheap stuff all day.

一来,可能大家都是刚来,顶多五六年,消费水平不是太高;另外就是消费习惯.
印巴人做生意还可以的,除了偶尔不守时之外.
