Right after Sydney Game many amature atheletes and their supporters complained about lack of government funding on CBC. They used Australia as an example saying that if the government offers more $$$, a country with a small population can produce lots of medals too. Tong Hui, the former world champion of diving used to coach in Calgary. He took the atheletes to compete in Sydney in 2000 and the Australians grabbed him. He left Canada and moved to Australia because he would have more financial support there. Look what he has done? The Australians won women's gold and bronze in Athens. 引用:
