My son had the same problem when he was about 2 weeks old. Those pimples were actually acnes, caused by the hormone from the mother during the last stage of pregnancy. They will go away in a couple of weeks. For my son's case, it took 3 weeks. You don't have to apply anything on the pimples. Also it's a one-time thing so once they are gone, they are gone (until the kid grows up. that's another story.

I hope it's the same for your baby too... However, why not ask your pediatrist, just in case...?

By the way, the pimples may be itchy or sometimes painful, so make sure your BB doesn't scratch them. You don't want to leave scars to her/his face afterwards, right?
