how to compress the digital vedio??????????????

After the movies are captured by PC,htey have to be edit ed and compressed.But how to do is good way.IF we keep a good quality ,like *.avi, the size is too big.If we prefer small size file,the vedio quality is too bad.How can we do?
Look at the a lot of movie online,they are 300MB for 1.5 hours in RM format,how r they made?

try this software:TMPGEnc, you can get the best quality of mpeg.

试过TMPGENC，质量还是不行，很不好设置。

同ULEAD或ADOBE这样的大型软件比，它ENCODE出来的东西要差点。也许是不会用吧。

有价值的东西要保存成AVI格式，用DV再存回到带子上(编辑后的)，一个带存60分钟，只要5、6块钱，还是合算的。
