摘要

On the tax-relief front, the government announced that over the next three years it will:

- Cut personal income taxes by 10 per cent for all individuals earning up to $100,000. That will mean savings of $315 for a taxpayer earning $50,000 or $864 for someone making $100,000. That will cost the government $1.5 billion over the next three years.

- Will not charge first-time buyers of homes valued at up to $375,000 anywhere in B.C. the property transfer tax, saving them up to $5,500. That will cost the province about $63 million over the next three years.

- Allow homeowners with houses worth up to $950,000 to qualify for the homeowner's grant of $570, or $845 for seniors. The government will also allow homeowners to defer their property tax beginning at age 55, instead of 60, to help those on fixed incomes who have seen their property taxes soar.

既然说了是first time home buyers,那第二次买就不是first time 了,估计这个和第一次买房可以用RRSP是一个定义的。

应该是的。政府还是鼓励大家买房子。 看来这房价未来3年内很难跌下来。
