请教：从温哥华到悉尼

我准备从加拿大去澳洲，定air canada的航班，从温哥华到悉尼直飞，中间在honolulu
听一站，请问这种情况需要美国的Transit visa吗？
哪位有这方面的经验，指教一下，多谢。

BTW: did you ever take this flight to Australia? My colleague from Iran said he needs a transit visa for that.

No I didn't. However, I went to New Zealand in 2005 through connecting flight in LA and no visa required as a Canadian.

If you are holding a Chinese passport, either with PR card or study visa, as long as you are not going through US custom in Honololo which I don't think you will, either case you don't need US transit visa.
