请教工资扣税

不到4k的工资，现在每个月被扣700多，正常吗？
工资单上有GOVT PEN, FEDL TAX, EI, LTD;这个LTD是什么？GOVT PEN怎么计算？
另外，不是有ontario tax吗？怎么没列出来？

我的理解，Ontario 的tax如下：
6.05% on the first $33,375 of taxable income, +
9.15% on the next $33,377, +
Fedl tax如下：
16% on the first $35,000 of taxable income;
22% on the next $35,000 of taxable income;

ontario tax和fedl tax有无免除额度，比如，国内的所得税，可以扣除800，深圳1600。

配偶没收入，全年可扣除6586。

1. lower than 20% tax for your situation would be ok. you need to fill out a form (ask your company's Human resources for that) to tell them your wife has no income, then they will deduct less tax for you. But anyway, even they deducted tax more than you should have to pay, the money will refound to you later.

2. Ontario 的tax is already included in the FEDL TAX in your pay check

3. GOVT PEN (we call it CPP) is calculated on a percentage (less than 5%) of your pay and maximum to about $1700/year.

4. ontario tax和fedl tax有免除额度. fedl is about $8000.

if a family only earn about $40000/y, no body is going to share Tax from them. you should consider the medical care, transportation, eduction etc. you just pay tax for yourself.

Do not be so tough with 加哪大, if you do not hide your income in China, you should pay lots of tax too.

老婆没有工作２人约有１５０００免税（安省），１５０００Ｘ１６％＝２４００。

CPP是头３５００元不扣，（年工资－３５００）Ｘ４。９８％。扣到工资４万到顶，４万以上的部分就不再扣养老金了。一年最多扣１８００元。

失业金是工资的１。９８％。

LTD是有限公司。税务局叫啥LTD不知道。

不过，按下面的说法，CCP一年最多1800，那每个月最多150？如果今年只工作了5个月，会扣1800吗？还是其中一部分5/12？

反正自己怎么都算不明白，问了公司薪酬的，说会要求外包的公司提供说明。。。

Sometimes a company (especially a small company) only pay a part of benifit for employee, and the employee have to pay some for the additional things, such as Long TERM DISABILITY的保险.

公司买了保险。
查了公司保险手册，STD是员工和公司都交的，获得保险赔偿的时候要缴税；LTD是员工自己负担的，获得赔偿时不缴税。
