已经有一年多了, EI是照扣的, 而且我是PERMANENT EMPLOYEE. 以前工作的地方都是扣过的, 我还收到过GOVERNMENT 的信关于我已经贡献了多少CPP. 我们管PAYROLL的说因为我不是公民, 这是她从GOVERNMENT 得来的回答, 而且从她的QUICKBOOK上来看, 我的CPP就是不ELIGIBLE. 我真是不明白. 谁知道我这种情况麽? |

CPP (rates) As an employer, you have to contribute the same amount that you deduct from your employees remuneration. You have to deduct CPP contributions from an employee's remuneration if the employee is 18 or older but younger than 70. The employment must be pensionable during the year, and the employee cannot be receiving a CPP retirement or disability pension. Note The annual maximum for pensionable earnings ($40,500 for 2004) applies to each job the employee holds with different employers (different business number). If an employee leaves one employer during the year to start work with another employer, the new employer also has to deduct CPP contributions without taking into account what was paid by the previous employer. This is the case even if the employee has paid the maximum premium amount during the previous employment. Any overpayments will be refunded to employees when they file their income tax and benefit returns. Employers are not entitled to a refund. You stop deducting CPP contributions when you reach the maximum employee contribution. CPP rate for 2004 Employee contribution rate is 4.95% of pensionable earnings Maximum pensionable earnings are $40,500 Basic yearly exemption is $3,500 Maximum employee contribution is $1831.50 |

我和我们的PAYROOL又吵了一架, 不过最后我们和解了, 因为她都哭了,天, 我竟然能让一个比我大不少的人哭, 我也不想阿... 吵架是她过来告诉我她错了, 我应该PAY CPP的, 但是她很生气认为我说她工作不好, 而她一直当我是好朋友, 等等... 我利马没脾气了...对事不对人啊...不是老外都这么样子麽?看来我的英语太差, 意思没有表达明白. 我们最后HUG和解, 她会继续帮我查为什么QUICK BOOK不能确认我的SIN卡号, 她说是QUICK BOOK不识我的SIN卡号, 把CPP屏蔽了. |
