internal job opportunity---Technician, Production Mechanic
Job Summary: Responsible for the Preventative Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Mechanical repairs/ Set up / Disassembly / Changeovers of the filling/packaging/Autoclaves/Getinges and all other production related equipment including Material Handling, to ensure effective and efficient processes. Job Responsibilities: Perform PM’s/Mechanical repairs/Trouble Shooting/Changeovers/disassembly/Set Up’s of the filling/packaging machines/ Autoclaves/Getinges and all other Production/Material Handling equipment. Fine-tune/PM/Mechanically troubleshoot and repair Rommelag Blow/Fill/Seal machine(s) Troubleshoot problems on all other lines and advise Mechanic Supervisor of any major problems on the line for repair Participate in the set-up of the filling and packaging equipment as well as packaging room for effective and efficient start-ups Participate in trouble shooting of the VHP process (Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide), as well as the CIP/SIP (clean in place/steam in place) and autoclaving processes. Pre-process of filling equipment Assist in training Operators in machine operations and standard operations on all Production related equipment. Complete any required production documentation and relevant SOP training as required by training specifications. Follow GMP and all SOP’s in accordance with government regulations and company guidelines Assist in the operation of all production machines when required to ensure effective and efficient running lines. Other duties as required Job Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Food/Packaging industry, with 1-2 years in a mechanical role College diploma in Manufacturing/Engineering Technology Excellent oral and written communication skills Proven ability to pay attention to details Strong interpersonal skills |
