I believe the one you mentioned is Charly Chan Szechuan Resturatn, been there once long time ago, it is not Szechuan food at all, more westeners there than Chinese. (If you know what I mean).

Han Ji's dishes is more Szechuan like, I will say this is the closest Szechuan food you can get in Calgary. However I dont recommend their individual rice (like fried rice, noodle, etc) and soup. Their OX-tail, Niu BaiYeh, are not bad.

Each individual dishes is about CAD$8-10, so for 2, it will be around 40-50 if you order 4-5 dishes.

韩记 is really not good 川味. They just put more peper sauce(like LaoGanMa) a little bit more. not use real peper to creat the flavor.

不咋的,大厨是东北人,在美国跟川菜师傅学过几天,到这就变成老四川拉, 还没有我家里的做得好.
