是挺奇怪的，不知道楼主应聘的是什么行业的工作，偶本人面试中从来没被问到工作以外的问题（偶而有两次问过个人爱好什么的），也没听说过周围朋友有过类似经历。 在加拿大，这是明确不允许的，雇用一个人的唯一标准就是candidate的qualifications是否是 employer job requirements的best fit。楼上有朋友说了，小公司这么做比较普遍，行业里的大公司也这样的确有点匪夷所思。 不过想开了，如果只是因为你有孩子需要照顾公司不录用你的话，这样的地方不去也罢，就算你可以说你有baby sitter或者送day care拿到offer，工作了以后要是因为孩子需要请假的话，他们一定不会给你好脸色看，会间接影响到你的performance，不会有什么大的发展空间。 还有就是以后通过中介应聘的话，如果你自己曾经向雇人单位投过简历的，一定要如实告知，或者提醒中介check一下，免得造成不必要的误会。还有要避免的是多个recruiter representing你的简历去同一家公司，这种情况发生的话，你会被马上disqualified。 楼主take it easy啦，下次面试碰到这种问题，把皮球踢回给他们，how do you know if I have kids? Did I mention it in my resume? 半开玩笑似的，也是提醒他们这个问题跑题了。如果他们还是不依不饶要问到底，楼主再根据情况选择是委曲自己满足他们的无理要求还是让他们go to hell。

偶个人意见是，碰到这种不着边际的问题，刚开始也不好表现得太强硬，还是要respond professionally，问你有没有孩子，你可以反问。。something like "are you asking me about my family? I am not expecting to discuss my family life in the job interview because I feel like it has nothing to do with my qualifications blah blah blah..."，如果他们还是纠缠不休的话就让他们go to hell拉，也无所谓burn不burn这个bridge。 另外关于薪水的问题，偶搅得你做得没错，多数情况下都是如此，大家straightforward免得浪得时间。只要你做好自己的功课，根据自己的经历asking for reasonable salary based on market value，直接还是间接方式都okay啦。祝楼主好运。 |
