Those posted in the last thread is already in my ultra bin. I have to think the poster posted the wrong part ??? Or maybe I goofed somewhere.

Still not working. Viewsat ultra 121W. Autorolled for an hour that didn't work. Those posted key were in my machine to begin with. I think they were in Viewsat 's bin I download a week ago.

Could someone post the 00 08 09 keys. The complete keys please.

Received my CW-100R recorder today. &%$#(#@ doesn't come with its own hard disk?

The manual leaves much to be desired. Have a few questions...

1) How many hours programming can I record if I get a 80G harddisk ? Thing records in MPEG4. Will any harddisk with USB2.0 do , compatibility problem ?

2)How do I hook it up with CW600P or Viewsat ULtra. Does it receive TV signal through the RS232 cable or through AV in cable ? There's no hookup diagram.

3) Do I use the 100R's output to watch recorded program only or live program too ? Maybe I get a better picture viewing 600P direct.

4) The menu has a TV signal selection ...antenna or cable ..I don't see a antenna in on the machine .. auto tuning, tuning what ?

5) Has anyone used 100R to flash the 600P ? Is this a reliable way to do it ? My computers don't have RS232 port no more.

6) Does the 100R itself needs to be flashed with new ?bin ?

Changed code again ? Morning Aug 2. Signal strength and quality all good, Autoroll processing ................ Viewsat Ultra 121W. I changed code by hand last time, should I install the 070801 bin ?

Yesterday's bin doesn't seem to roll.

Some key sites are posting questionable new keys this morning until I found the

Did keys change again. The third time in 2 days? According to poster on Freedomfta.net

This is confusing. First I have one set of keys for my Viewsat Ultra, others used different set and reports it works. Now another new set of keys ? Do different machines use different keys ? Dn has multiple set of keys that work ? And they change it many times a day ?

我六月份买的 ultra viewset，起先质量Q值总是零，在老公不断的摇锅后终于找到了121星，并autoscan到了138个台，能收到中文台基本上都找到了，可奇怪的是凤凰卫视和中央4两个朋友说最容易收到的台却没有图像，能搜到这两个台，但质量为零，且一直显示为signal searching。
前天突然什么台也收不到了，老公上网下载了最新的密码，更新后，又重新aotoscan了台，共搜出137个台，可这次能收看到凤凰卫视和中央四了，图像很好，但其它所有原来可以收到的卫视台，现在却能搜到台，可没有图像，质量为零，也一直显示为signal searching。问了身边的朋友，他们同时都可以收到凤凰卫视，中央4和地方台卫士阿。不知道是什么原因我们总是得此失彼？是频率的设定问题吗？还是要老公再继续去摇锅阿？

I had the same problem with my Ultra(also purchased in June). You will see CCTV4 on the info bar but the frequency is changed to something else. Solved the problem by doing an auto channel scan followed imediately by deleting the empty transponders for that sat. The station name and frequency should now match. If you don't see the missing channel, do a transponder scan for that missing channel only. You can find the transponder frequency on Lyngsat for that station.

The problem might return if you scan 119W,110W next. Just write down the mis-matched frequency #. Delete that transponder on the 121W. Manually add,scan for the correct transponder.

Have this problem with autoroll on Viewsat Ultra. After entering new bin, confirmed new bin in sat info, done the default thing before and after. Autoroll turned on. Tried channels on 121 and CNN(200) on 119 , Bar shows autoroll processing but nothing happens for an hour. Had to manually enter new key. Autoroll works after that when DN changed key again.

Its that first time after installing new bin, autoroll can not find the key. After manually enter key ,all future key changes are handled seamlessly. No interruption of program even for a second that I can tell.

Tried CNN because someone said this channel gets the keys and program guide info.

Also have a CW600P received yesterday. This one autorolled for about 3 minutes and found the key. Problem is .........everytime I turn it on it autorolls 3 minutes. Is this normal ?

CW needs better manual write. Not in the manual but push the 0 (zero) key, a screen to adjust output color shows up. This is very helpful as factory setting is way off.

If SonicView 's new bin is like Viewsat. You need to manually input new keys the first time. It will autoroll afterwards.

Don't ask me why. I only know what worked for me.

Changed key again 11:40pm. Autoroll no work. Cw600 showed changing Nagra key, signal still scrambled.

Changed back to the keys for 4pm change,it worked again. Apparently tricksters make CW600 change to false keys. Going to turn off autoroll now.

EPG = electronic program guide

My Viewsat Ultra EPG shows only currently playing program on 121W, nothing after 2 hours. What transponder frequency should I set it to receive EPG ?

Using linear LNB I can catch some transponders from 119W (I think) with strength and quality around 60. But autoroll processing can not resolve a picture. Is there any channel I can view on 119 with a linear LNB ?

121 does not have 12224 TP thus you get 0. My Ultra has a tendency to change transponer frequecy all by itself. Check the INFO bar, the channel number and transponder frequency should match that given on lyngsat.

If you see wrong frequency for that channel. Write it down. Do a default, auto scan , immediately delete those transponders that have no program or is the frequency you wrote down.

Everytime I scan other satllites, Ultra messes up channel memory for 121.

Did you adjust skew angle. Turning LNB about 35 degree counterclockwise.

I have the same LNB and its good. My Q is 90 for 119, 60 to 80 for 118.7.

Use good qulity cable RG59 or RG6 copper core. Nothing from the $ store. Avoid connectors. Diseq could be a bitch.

Also you could try not add the 118.7 sat but add those transponder frequencies to 119. This worked for my CW600P.

My CW600P will not remember any channel after I scanned 118.7. It finds the channels fine ,just will not remember it. So I grafted the transponders to 119,problem solved. Anyone have the same problem ?
