去年申请了2个学期的贷款，政府批了12,000。

今年秋季自从我先生贷款读书后, 我转入parttime学习，贷款就没了，并开始让我全额还！并从十月开始加6.5%利息.

我现在实在无能为力还清这么大一笔钱, 怎么可以申请豁免？我GPA 3.9，不算差！有别的资助吗?

既然有贷款，为什么要申请parttime呢

$12,000 全部还. 我也奇怪为什么我没有BURSARY OR GRANT. 是不是因为我是在安省贷款, 在别的省上学? 我收到NALSC 的信, 让我从本月起,还114个月,每月 $150.
请问 就我现在的情况, 我该怎么办?

Interest Relief and Integrated Interest Relief

Should your income fall below a certain level, you may be eligible for Interest Relief or Integrated Interest Relief.

Interest Relief and Integrated Interest Relief are designed to provide temporary relief to borrowers who are having difficulty meeting their repayment obligations.

If you qualify for either of these programs, the Governments of Canada and/or Ontario will pay the interest on eligible student loans and you will not be required to make any payments on these loans.

Approval of your application is based on your gross family income, your family size, and the principal owing on your student loans. Interest Relief and Integrated Interest Relief are normally granted for six-month periods, up to a maximum of 30 months, throughout the lifetime of your loans.

To be eligible for Interest Relief or Integrated Interest Relief, you must:

Be living in Canada or be on an international internship;


Have signed a Consolidated Student Loan Agreement;


Not have already received Interest Relief or Integrated Interest Relief for the maximum period allowed (30 months); and


Ensure your student loans are in good standing at your financial institution and/or the National Student Loans Service Centre.


Application procedures for Integrated Interest Relief

The Integrated Interest Relief program is for borrowers who have Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loans.

If you hold a Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan (received on or after August 1, 2001) alone or in addition to a Canada Student Loan and/or Ontario Student Loan, you will apply for Integrated Interest Relief through the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC). Your Integrated Interest Relief application will be used to assess your eligibility for Interest Relief on your Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loans, Canada Student Loans, and Ontario provincial student loans.

The NSLSC will provide you with a pre-filled and personalized “Application for Special Interest Free Period (Interest Relief)".

You must submit a separate application for each 6-month period of interest relief. You may apply for a subsequent period of interest relief the day after your current period ends.

You must submit supporting documentation with your application. This includes proof of your spouse's/partner's student loan payment amounts, if applicable, proof of gross monthly family income, and/or proof of your and your spouse/partner's monthly student loan payment(s) for loans issued by a province other than Ontario, if applicable.
