我从去年十二月份开始申请护士专业，由于准备充分现已经收到三个通知书，在此想把自己的经验介绍一下，以帮助同胞共同发展。有回帖的必回答。

我想申请RPN，不知到有什么建议。

医师是大夫吗？也许学校在考虑你的录取的时候有利。如果你报护士专业是一定会注意到，多数学校要求你能提供本地的english30, chemistry30, mathematics30 and biology30等高中课程成绩。一般来说只要有了这四门课的成绩在85分以上基本上就可以被录取了。同时也要求有托福成绩在230分以上。

报考高中课程考试是在4月初和11月初。在各个高中都可以报名，以waik-in的身份参加考试。在卡尔加利chinook learning center(前chinook college)既可以参加培训又可以在那里考试。他们的班挺好，一般参加完后可以考到80分以上。当然如果基础好的话自学也可以考到80以上。

其实申请RPN 比RN要简单些。就我了解的情况， 卡尔加利bow valley college 只要english33, mathematics33, biology30, 你也可以在那学相当于那的课程。这里每期招60多人。应该录取不难。而且托福要求也低，只195分。其他学校的要求也大致如此。

我有个问题，如果我想过英语30－1的话，是不是也可以去chinook college报名参加考试，考试是在几月份进行的呢？

实际上现在english30 称为english language arts 30-1. 在chinook college 有培训班，一年两次，分别在一月初和六月中旬，具体的你可以查询。考试分别在一月中旬和六月底。培训费是160刀每科。

我没有报UA, 因为它要求有TSE成绩在50分以上。而且名气大一些，录取几率小。其实在哪儿RN 毕业都是一样，何不避实击虚呢？

我今年初也申请了RN在UOFC，UOFC在四月底接到了我的TOEFL成绩，现在他们跟我要我的大学哲学和统计学的课程说明，我真是愁得要命，他们还说课程说明必须在6月底前寄到他们手里，否则他们不处理我的文档，学校向你们要了吗？你们是怎么弄的？我学哲学和统计学的时候那是18年前的事了，我该怎么办？

其实他们可以在得到你的课程说明之前就处理你的文件。因为课程说明的作用是决定你能不能豁免学分，它和录取没有直接关系，你肯定得到错误信息。

we can exchange info. check your status online and call admission officer. mine is incomplete course desc. but it did say admission office received enough info to make a decision on my app. so far mine is decision pending at uC and uA. By the way i applied to after degree program. my email is springapplication@yahoo.com

这就是说你还是有机会被录取的，至少即使你的课程描述不全也没关系，了不起你不指望获得学分豁免，到时该修的课程就修了。

you are right. admission ooficer said the same thing to me. I prefer to attend a one year bsn program in usa. or we may be classmates in the coming sept. lol

谢谢大家的帮助，可我还是没搞清。“mine is incomplete course desc”是指你已经给他们了一份课程说明，但课程说明得不完全，所以也PASS了。还有就是说“after degree program”是指under graduate program 二年制（以前有学历证书）或是under graduate program 四年制（以前没有学历证书）或是它的graduate program(研究生班)呀？希望能成为你们的同学与同行！！！

如果我真是头痛得拿不出来这个课程说明，是不是我必须得给学校admission office打电话，好让他们知道我不准备给他们提供这个说明了，我已经准备好学习所有课程了呢？其实我想我最多也就是能免去数理统计学这一门。

现在不要主动去找麻烦，等把通知书拿到后一切都好办。大不了不要那个学分豁免。
