When did your friends arrive in Canada? The stats is for 2000-2004, not 2003, or 2004. Averagely speaking for all 4 years and all newcomers, not only Chinese, the stats are accurate. Remember to look at how many people take further education that lasts at least a year. When they are included, the stats are pretty close.
