不知何故本田V6还是使用SOHC, 而其他很多厂商的V6引擎, 例如丰田, 尼桑, 宝马, 奔驰等都用DOHC了; 而美国车系又特别喜欢用你说的OHV引擎(也许是曾经,现在很多也用DOHC了)。。。本田?4缸自然吸气引擎它做的算不错的,VTEC高转貌似又可以,看文档似乎是SOHC的好处是在高转的时候...
My understanding about SOHC is that they would have better torque on the low end where the DOHC valvetrain’s weight results in lower torque. In all other aspects, DOHC wins hands down.

OHV engines are cheap to manufacture and very reliable. Americans have come a long history using them, but now they seem to abandon them as well, just look at how GM replaces the 3800 series with 3.6 V6 DOHC.

Why don't we just all buy OHV engines and never worry about timing belt.

Put in gear 1 and floor the gas pedal, you'll redline.

OHV engines don't aspirate as good as DOHC engines, 2 valves per cylinder VS. 4 valves per cylinder, DOHC wins hands down.

Follow up:

换完之后一直很心虚, 生怕timing对得不完美. 会导致燃烧不完全, 油耗偏高等...经过3个月的驾驶, 上周末做了废气检测, 结果非常好

HC ppm limit 150, reading 1 PASS
CO% limit 0.70, reading 0.00 PASS
NO ppm N/A -- 这一点有点不理解, 是不是这款车不测试NO的?

大部分高速, 油耗10.8L/100km

这个结果相当满意了.
