Here's all the directions you need to find all the street action in Calgary:
If you're not familiar with Calgary, you may want to pick up a downtown map, since some people get confused by the division of streets and avenues into North-South, East-West. All the strolls are located in the Southeast and Southwest, fairly close to the downtown core, though, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
The high-class hookers (read: expensive) can be found on 3 Ave. SW between 1 Str and 4 Str, near the French Maid strip club. Since this is right downtown in the business district, action doesn't start here 'till later evening - 9 or 10 pm. Sometimes when there are lots of girls you can find some of them on 2 Ave. and on the streets between. Prices start at $100 for a bj and $200+ for a lay. Some of the girls have hotel rooms they take you to. Not too many of them are friendly.
My favourite spot for picking up dates is Centre Str south of the Calgary Tower, between 17 Ave. and 10 Ave., then on 10 Ave. from Centre Str to 4 Str SE. Part of Centre Str used to be the ""popcorn stroll"" (I'm really 18-wink, wink) but the police have really cracked down on underage girls and their johns, so most of the girls working here now are legal age. Most of the girls here are just as pretty as any of the high-class hookers on 3 Ave., they are all friendlier, and have better rates (starting at $60,80,100 for bj,lay,half'n'half respectively - higher rates for some of the younger, better-looking girls). There is action in this area virtually around the clock, but between 8pm - 4am is the most selection. One good side street worth checking out in this area is 3 Str SE between 10 Ave. and 11 Ave.
If you're really not wanting to spend much money (or really have a taste for skanky wenches), you can try the parking lot that is framed by 7 and 8 Ave. SE and by 4 and 5 Str SE. Sometimes you find an ok date here, but most are old and/or ugly, and almost all of them are strung out on something. Service is 24 hours, price for a lay is $60, sometimes lower.
Whatever you do, watch out for the cops - they're always around, and local laws regarding prostitution always seem to be changing.
