PayPal为何下黑手封账户
难道非让我贩毒贩假货,才高兴?

It doesn't matter what are you selling or how good is your account. paypal is not like Bank, they can do whatever they want to your account. part of this, they freeze your money and earn interest to cover their ass that get ripped off by those cheaters. |

There is a customer service number you can call. Here is what PayPal told me: As we start a new year, we wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your business, and provide our commitment to helping you grow and succeed with PayPal. As a valued PayPal Business customer, we wanted to remind you that we have a special phone number you can utilize when contacting PayPal. |

I am not saying that PayPal is doing a good job for sellers. What I am trying to say is that you have to consider if PayPal is the right choice for your business. They can limit your account if: Any of the following events may lead to your account being limited: https://www.paypal.com/row/cgi-bin/w...e&country.x=CA 1. Reports of unauthorized or unusual credit card use associated with the account including, but not limited to, notice by the card issuing bank. This includes notices made by you to your credit card company that a transaction was unauthorized or your account compromised, and is done in order to protect you from further unauthorized use of your card; 2. Reports of unauthorized or unusual bank account use associated with the account; 3. Abuse by a buyer of the reversal process provided by the buyer's issuing bank; 4. Consistent failure to pursue the Buyer Complaint Process described below before pursuing any alternate reversal process provided by the buyer's issuing bank; 5. Abuse by a buyer or seller of the Buyer Complaint Process; 6. Complaints received regarding non-shipment of merchandise, non-delivery of services, merchandise not as described, or problems with merchandise shipped; 7. Initiation by a buyer of a reversal process through the buyer's issuing bank without first pursuing the Buyer Complaint process described below; 8. Receipt of potentially fraudulent funds; 9. Excessive disputes or reversals, or attempts to "double dip" by receiving funds in a dispute both from PayPal and through a reversal or a refund from the seller; 10. Refusal to cooperate in an investigation or provide confirmation of identity when requested; 11. Initiation of transactions considered to be cash advances or assisting in cash advances(not including the use of the PayPal debit card); 12. Sending unsolicited email or posting referral links on websites where they are not permitted; 13. Opening multiple accounts; 14. The account has been used in or to facilitate fraudulent activity; 15. Violations of this User Agreement; 16. Name on the bank account associated with the PayPal account does not match the name on the PayPal account; 17. Return of an incoming Electronic Funds Transfer for insufficient funds in the bank account, incorrect bank routing number, or incorrect bank account number; 18. Use of an anonymizing proxy; 19. Participating in prohibited transactions and activities, including but not limited to multi-level marketing programs, gifting clubs and other pyramid schemes, and listing items for sale that have a delayed delivery date of 20 days or more after the transaction list, and other activities that are prohibited in Part II of this Agreement; 20. Reports from credit agencies of a high level of risk; 21. Receipt by PayPal of excessive complaints regarding your account, business or service; and/or 22. Logging in from a country not included on PayPal's permitted countries list. PayPal will use reasonable efforts to investigate accounts that are subject to account access limitations and to reach a final decision on the limitations promptly. |

So what you can do as a seller is to protect your self. 1) Have a backup method of receiving payment in case your PayPal account is limited. 2) Read the terms carefully. Try your best to comply with it. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. 3) Don't keep too much balance on your PayPal account. PayPal is not a bank. Certain regulations that applied to banks do not apply to PayPal. PayPal is a private company. They can do whatever they want according to their terms. Even the terms are changing all the time. So they make the rules, you don't. 4)... |
