吐槽CRA，一帮稀里糊涂，学艺不精的

今天收到CRA的REASSEMENT，把我的ELIGIBLE DEPENDANT AMOUNT给DENY了（LINE 305)，气疯了；基本情况如下：
1. dependant是我老爸，他已经移民了，不是VISITING我，而是和我住在一起
2. 我单身也木有孩子，老爸无收入
3. 家里除了我，也没有其他人申请这个AMOUNT

用了CRA自己的ONLINE TOOL显示我是可以申请这个CREDIT，这帮CRA的人呀~~~

这个是LINE 305的解释

You may be able to claim this amount if, at any time in the year, you met all of the following conditions at once:
•you did not have a spouse or common-law partner or, if you did, you were not living with, supporting, or being supported by that person; --我符合

•you supported a dependant in 2011; and -- 符合

•you lived with the dependant (in most cases in Canada) in a home that you maintained. You cannot claim this amount for a person who was only visiting you. --符合

In addition, at the time you met the above conditions, the dependant must also have been either:
•your parent or grandparent by blood, marriage, common-law partnership, or adoption; or --符合
•your child, grandchild, brother, or sister, by blood, marriage, common-law partnership, or adoption and either under 18 years of age or physically or mentally impaired.--N/A

明明是可以的呀

过了65也可以CLAIM 305呀，305没有年龄限制；我是我老妈CLAIM 315，我老爸CLAIM 305（我老爸没有CLAIM 315)，不冲突啊。

dependant 的定义是什么？

一直想申请，没找到明确的定义

a dependant is a person who is both financially dependent on you and related to you. The dependant can be related to you by blood, marriage or adoption

Your claimed your dad immigrant status, your didn't claim your mum immigrant status. Was your mum a visitor to you in 2011...

他们都是移民，移民STATUS都CLAIM了；我父母都是加拿大永久居民，2011年到现在都在加拿大和我居住在一起；2011年他们也分别进行了报税，收入都未超出上限

cra这段时间有点胡乱调查，估计这么一阵猛查，会“省”下好多钱，很多懒得解释，懒得吵架的，也就这么退钱回去了

不知道都雇得什么人啊，我觉得我父母的CASE超级简单明了的，这都会搞不清啊，无语

4000不是上限，上限是10,527，而且是个人收入不是家庭收入，这个我申请的时候就已经在CRA网站查好了

If you are eligible to claim the amount for an eligible dependant, and your dependant's net income (line 236 of his or her return, or the amount that it would be if he or she filed a return) was:
• less than $10,527, calculate your amount on your line 305 of Schedule 1, Federal Tax; or
• $10,527 or more, you cannot claim this amount.

呵呵，YAHOO的就别扯进来了，而且你查的那个是美国的IRS的规定，不是加拿大的；当然要以CRA网站上的为准了，不然岂不是乱套了。

今天打了电话了，CRA说ASSESSMENT还没结束，ONLINE显示的信息不是最终的，让我下周再看看；不知道是不是他们自己发现错误了，还是想“省”更大的钱

对啊，我是只CLAIM了一个啊，LINE 315又不是DEPENDANT AMOUNT；LINE 305和LINE 315是2个不同的CREDIT

同项不同类。

你的情况不太了解。

你父母都在你身边，你是单身。

你妈妈用的是 315 - 也就是 caregiver amount. 那你妈妈是 infirm dependent 吗？
有disability amount?

你通读一下315的规定吧，CAREGIVER CLAIM如果是父母或者祖父母的话，只需要在65周岁以上就可以了，并不需要INFIRM；如果CLAIM的不是父母或者祖父母，则需要是INFIRM；
“Your dependant must have:

•been 18 years of age or older at the time he or she lived with you;
•had a net income in 2011 (line 236 of his or her return, or the amount that it would be if he or she filed a return) of less than $18,906; and
•been dependent on you due to an impairment in physical or mental functions or, if he or she is your or your spouse's or common-law partner's parent or grandparent, born in 1946 or earlier.”
现在CRA对于我CLIAM 315并没有异议；他们错是错在DENY了我的305

我没有认为他们蠢或者笨，我只是说他们学艺不精，聪明人也可以学艺不精，这个貌似没有必然联系

CRA没错！你的父母在税法上是一体，你不能和你爸在税法上成一体，只能在你是单的，你爸也是单的时候，你的那样处理才成立。你的正确做法是，你给父母申报line 315.

一搬现在给你寄reassenment. 通常是经过了senior之手的，错的可能性比较小。
