not possible to put on the wood
I have experience for installing curtain in new house: 1, it is not possible to put the hangers on the wood cause the wood is not "dui4 chen4" besides window. The position for the wood will not be the position for where u want to hang curtain. If u try to put hanger on the wood, ending up with one side is 1 meter from window and 1 side is 1.5 meter from window, is ur curtain wide enough?Plus very ugle that way if curtain not balanced out. 2 hang from the top, if ur curtain is not falling on the floor. 1 feet apart from floor for exp, It is really really ugly. Then u will feel very uncomfortable everyday when u see it. 3, dry wall is more strong than what we suspected. It is very thick and stable. Try some huge dry wall kits and it will hang ur curtains very well. But buy some light curtain rod, plus use 3 hangers |
