请问考过CSC的朋友

1：不参加CSI的课程，自己自学能参加CSC考试吗？（在CSI的网页上，需要student NO.和PIN才能预约考试）如果能，有哪些报名途径？
2：我在网上看到有两个考试，一个是两个两小时的考试（分别是1-6章和7-12章）另一个是一个三小时的考试（1-13章）。
这两个考试有何区别？
3：每年有多少次考试？考完试后多长时间有结果？考试通过后有证书颁发吗？

CSC is only offered through CSI. I vaguely recall there is another equivalent course offered by another organization. Unfortunately I have no detailed information in this regard.

They used to offered a three hour exam for CSC. Two 2-hour exams were introduced two or three years ago. I am not sure whether the former option is still available or not. I personally wrote two exams, and submitted one paper to complete the course.

I believe they offer exams on weekly basis in major cities. You will know the result online in about one week, and receive written notice in two weeks. Once completed, the certificate will be mailed to you very soon.

Flying snow, sorry for late response. But I am not sure whether there is any way to save the tuition.
