对比了FOREX和www.xe.com， 两个相差也太大了，不确定到底哪个网站提供的是REAL-TIME ECHANGE RATES。

Yes, I have RBC accounts, but just have few bucks on them, and barely do transactions.
I tried to convert currency online. It did not give me a better rate. You said that you got a good rate, and I think that was because you were able to get employee rate. It's good for you.
Back 7 years ago, my husband often converted US dollars to Canadian dollars at RBC, and late I found that he could get better rates though any currency exchange companies. I asked my account manager at that time. He said that normally bank could not offer a better rate to customer. Since then, I only do currency conversion through exchange firms.

no, it is not because I am staff,

the clients are different levels, if you only have several bucks, you can't have better rate of course,
the situations are very different,
some clients can get better rate than me, WHY? they have more money than me in there---RBC or other banks,
4 years before, I got better rate from CIBC than any other currency exchange instituations in downtown, since I directly went to the dept of foreign currency (cibc)

the rate depends on many factors, your amount of us, your amount of cad in the bank, many others,

if you only have several bucks in even TD, I do not think you can have better rate either.

if you want to exchange more, you can just open an VIP account in RBC, and even though, the several tens service fee can be covered by the big advantage if you get best rate,

so this is the business way,

你说的RBC的很好的汇率,比在XE看到的中间汇率差多少个点差?

所有的抄汇公司都只有两三个点差,但那是杠杆的,不允许取现.

我在TD换美元,比XE看到的中间汇率差大概140个点,有个华人公司,我打电话问过,说差40个点,可又不放心.
