Maintenance Electrician - Start Immediately!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Troubleshoot and repair of equipment (i.e. Printing Presses, Gas Fired Web Dryers, etc)
? Provide preventative maintenance services for plant equipment
? Provide electrician on call duties
? Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are understood and practiced to ensure that all work is being completed in a safe manner
? Adhere to 5S workplace organization standards
? Advise, assist and drive change initiatives. Participates in management and continuous improvement activities

Rotation on an afternoon shift will be required at an hourly premium of $1.80


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

? Completion of a post secondary Electrical program / Journeyman Certificate required
? 1 – 3 years’ successful manufacturing industry experience would be considered an asset
? Knowledge of safety procedures / policies i.e. lockout / tagout procedures
? Superior communication, analytical and trouble shooting skills
? Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
? Knowledge of PLC software (i.e. Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB) and how to design electrical systems and repair electrical equipment would be an asset.
