Why you say that? I don't believe that. I helped serveral friends to find good IT job through old immigrants. I never get anything from my friends. The old immigrants who gave help didn't take anything either. You shouldn't lost trust to all people. |

I 100% agree with all your points in this poster. English and Canadian experience are defnitely not obstacles for job searching. For English, just like what do you said, the job searching process is the way you improve your communication skills. People who don't have canadian working experience doesn't mean they don't have related working experience. I am working display advertising area now, my past working experience in china is online advertising marketing. My boss decide to hire me in the first 20 mintues of my interview. He told me that I have all the traits he look for this postions, experiences are not important for him . It has been in this company for 2 months, I found that most business principle and process are similar ,expect industry termnology. My perspective of the difficulity in job search is that yourself. How much efforts you want to put in job hunting, how long your persistence can last ? How brave you are ? How assertative you are? How high is your motivation and assertativeness ? How tough your personality is ? |
