Menu, Installation, Channel scan. Add Satellite,

Add TP

Edit TP:

Freq 11715...S/R 20000....Pol V....Rate 7/8....?

Save it, exit.

Now you need to go to Antenna Setup and enter info for the LNB is use....this is important.

Go to Antenna Setup and setup the
LNB type: Standard
LNB Freq 10750
TP Freq 11715
Diseqc Port.....

Then go to Auto Scan and scan 118.7 and all available TPs should be scanned in..........

你弄好后, 能否分享一些经验, 让我们后来者也好少走弯路.... :-)

好好弄, 33寸的锅, 应该可以一国三星的 (110, 118 & 119)

如果有satfinder最好, 如果没有也没关系, 多试试看. 在动手之前一定要在支撑杆上和仰角刻度上用铅笔做好原来位置的印记, 以便十一LOST太远仍然可以重新来过.

turn on your receiver & TV, then,

1. dish在原来位置向南转动大约2度,仰角向上增加大约1度. 看2,

2. 在ViewSat Ultra 的 Antenna Setup里面找到119(如果没有的话, 建议你用channel master 把channel list 事先写到box里面), 将119 的LNB type改成 "Standard" , LNB Freq 改成"10750"(如果有4x1switch, 也要相应设置). 继续看3.

3,不要退出, 在同一个菜单(Antenna Setup - 119W ) 里tp項, 检查任意tp时看是否有强度和质量信号显示, 如果都有, 恭喜你, 你已经找到119了, 你可以先保存退出就可以看到119上的节目了.(如果没有预先的119频道, 你也可不要退出,在同一个菜单(Antenna Setup - 119W)里sca一下, 可以scan出119频道出来.), 然后看4. 如果没有质量显示, go to 6. 如果你想另外加一个卫星, 可以, 请看楼上962层.

4 然后返回上个菜单, 在edit TP 里选119W, Add TP: 加入5个TP: 11715 v 20000; 11789h20000; 11989v20000; 12063h20000; 12081v20000 继续看5.

5, 再回到Antenna Setup - 119W轮流查看以上5个TP是否有有质量显示, 如果有, 恭喜你, 真是太巧了, 你又高中了. 你可以直接扫描, 也可以退到上菜单选channel scan->119w->以上的5个TP->分别扫描, 然后看TV, 不用往下看了. 如果没中, too bad, so sad. go to 6.

6, 将dish上下左右微微调整直到看到你的TP质量最大, 然后go to 3 or 5.

按照思路，原来118需要自己添加啊。
加了以后，基本就有了。还没看见部分中国频道。但是一些昨天没有的已经出来了。
那些英文体育台、电影台，统统OK了。

ExpressVu now shipping the 9242 HD PVR

The major selling point for the 9242 is it's ability to decode MPEG2 and MPEG4 satellite signals. MPEG-4 is an advanced audio video compression scheme that will eventually replace today’s MPEG2 signals thereby enabling ExpressVu to deliver bandwidth hogging high definition channels more efficiently. Once the transition to MPEG-4 is complete, ExpressVu will be able to offer its customers more channels without having to put more billion dollar satellites in space.

Before readers go rushing out to buy the new 9242, you should be aware that the transition to MPEG4 signals however is not expected anytime soon. In May, Bell told dealers that it does not anticipate moving to MPEG-4 compression until sometime in 2009. It's not known whether the takeover of Bell will alter those plans.

The new ExpressVu model 9242 is now being sold for $599 under a 24 month contract and while supplies last, the Model 9200 is being sold for $449.
