默认 祝贺,但补充说明几点:

1、POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY没有必要拆,上面的三个孔白留了。我已经事先提醒了还是硬拔了PULLEY,
值班员不知道为什么没有提醒和及时更正。
2、坚决反对涂抹过多的RTV(我是能不涂就不涂,因为没必要,除非表面不平),过多的RTV可能会脱落,将会STUCK THERMOSTAT,这个我见到太多了,所以总在提醒那些不善动脑的学徒。
3、如果不动OIL PAN,那个区域要尽量清理干净,适当加上RTV,如有垂直BOLT的情况,先紧哪个要想清楚再做。
4、一定要检查CHAIN和MECHANISM,不顺眼的顺手换掉。

现在脑筋有点愚钝了,冥思苦想还是不明白为什么不用拆power steering pump pulley。不拆它,看不到螺丝呀,那三个螺丝如何拿掉呢?我是真糊涂了。

这个是拆掉pulley后的cover。

我刚说了就问,看来我没说清楚。PULLEY上的孔不是留着好看的。
哈哈,原来是这个样子,真是笨死了。看来修车技巧还是蛮多的,有时也不能教条主义照搬手册。把你和林子的评论放主贴里了,以防误导网友。附上一个power steering pump pulley的图。三个大孔比我眼睛还大,愣没看到。呵呵。

值班员这几天太忙,看贴不细.另外,老JOE刚给开过会,明年没有wage increase,年底的bonus也泡汤了.弄不好要laidoff我这个值班员了

那个pulley是不用拆呀,怎么就给拆了呢?不过,我是赞成有事没事拆车的,这样才能提高DIY功力吗.老五兄弟艺高人胆大,在下佩服得不行.

再有,complain一下:这么好的贴,怎么还不给加精呢?报告都打上去了,没动静.

PULLEY不象别的,容易拆坏,没事尽量不要动。

仔细看了,timing cover 的背面是装 water pump及coolant通道的,没见到换gasket呀,换的蓝色的gasket没一点密封coolant的迹象!

又仔细看了看,gasket有好几个,估计有一个就是放在cover背面的,如果这样的话,干嘛卸下cover呢,直接换背面的gasket不就行了吗?
