Nothing wrong with VCC. As I know, they are pretty good. The reason why I don't suggest VCC is based on what you want to do. Your purpose is to apply BCIT degree/diploma. If you can get into BCIT ASAP, that's good enough. It's hard to pass the VCC couse with grade B. That's the reason I don't recommend it. But if your purpose is to improve your English skills, that's different story.

I am so confused that my toefl socroes is lower than BCIT, I'm not sure I should take the toefl again or take the english 12 or the communiate 0015 then take the english course of BCIT?

Do you know the south hill? It is in the Fraser st. near 41st st. So, you go there ,and take one english test, they will let you take the english course base on your test's score.

反正你现在选哪个方法都来不及今年秋季入学了。不如上12年级吧，同时准备TOEFL。我当初就是上12年级的SELF-PACE课程，同时考TOEFL，运气好托福分够了，才把12年级的课DROP掉了。

BTW: Talk to your instructor of ESL. They might let you go for 11 or even 12 immediately. That's what I did. They ask me if I want to go directly to ESL 12. At last, I started with ESL 11 instead of 10. (Not sure if I can get a B in ESL 12 without previous courses)

BCIT accept communication 12 or Technical communication 12, which is much easier than English 12, North Burnaby Adult Education Center provides this course.

请问各位 DX，怎样才可以到成人高中去读 ESL level 12? 是不是每个高中都有这样的课程呢？到哪里去询问这些信息呢？现在申请9月份入学来得及吗？

先找个成人高中做个评估,然后凭结果去报名.

对于移民来讲，这个TOEFL分数可以申请UBC的Master了，为什么还申请BCIT。当然，如果你是年轻有为的高中生的话就一说了。

拜托，申请UBC的MASTER，光有托还没有用，还要GRE或GMAT呢，还要本科时的GPA>85.00才行！

有些专业要gre or gmat, 电气与计算机工程专业不要。但toefl 600/4.5 gpa more than 80

UBC很多专业都要GRE成绩，即使表面不要的，也最好提供GRE成绩。GPA需高过85分，才有希望，因为它牛得很多。我先生就被它拒了

，所以还有点清楚！

comm 0015 是bcit关于英语的能力测试，这个测试及格分数相当于什么，ESL 12级？我要申请电气工程，他要求comm0005 70分or better,并不是comm 0015.如果我参加bcit的pre-entry培训comm0005,必须通过comm 0009测试。
