紧急求教: Got a ticket;

Dont have chinese input now, please abide this;

Everybody please pay attention if you are living at Victory Park & Old Sheppard (Huntingwood) area; (that intersection at Victory Park at east side is Huntingwood Drive; and west side Old Sheppard Ave)

I got a ticket this morning 85 $ fine and 110 $ total (failed of obey the sign) due to there is a sign that in the morning at 7:00 AM C 9:00 AM, you can not got straight or turn right to Old Sheppard Ave;

Sigh, please learn this lesson;

And please give me some advices, first time got ticket;

Anyone know how many demerit points will be gone and how much impact to the insurance;
Sigh, so afraid to give insurance company execute to kill me but still got one;

Nervous….. Why is so difficult to make money but so easier to lose;

Please help advise...

还有的路段，平时限速50，另外的一个牌子写40还有俩灯，下面写when flashing，呵呵，闪灯的时候限速是40。不留神就中招。

Anyone, who has experience please advise this; (sorry, no chinese input now)

I had 3 options at the back of the ticket as follows:

Option 1: - Plea of guilty - payment out of court I plead guilty and bla bla...

Option 2: - To Plead guilty with an explanation: Attend the court office within the times and days shown. you must bring this notice with you ....

Option 3: - Trial Option- do not mail
you or your agent must attend the court office in person within the times and days shown to file a notice of intention to appear in court;

If you have similar experience, please suggest which on should I go for;

I just don't want the insurance got an execuse to increase my primum, I really need the expertise to save losing 2 demerit points;

还是会和你私了，凡出庭的人都不扣点数。但罚款不会不要
除非你没有工作。一般10-50元另加给他们的手续费15

选那个不重要，应该选认罪但要求解释，如果选不认罪
那就不知道结果了，有时法官会要求你在选个日期
可能有人胜了可以不交钱。所谓私了就是认罪交钱

不交钱是不可能了, 我也认了;
但是不是可以不扣点？实在是担心有了点后保险公司借口长钱， 可就不是100刀的事了。
唉，叹气中，挣钱难呐，警察3分钟服务收我100刀；

没看到哪里有写扣点的事。。

原因是Red light- proceed before Green.


请大家帮我看一看到底有没有扣点，，光交钱就算了，扣点就得上法院了。。

whether you will lose demerit points, it depends;

For example, on my ticket, there is a "Contrary to" field says
"HTA" (HIGHWAY TRAFFIC ACT) and at "Sect" 182.2
even though there is nowhere says how many demerit points issued for the ticket;
But by go to following URL:

http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dan...er/demerit.htm

with your "Sect" number or Offense Reason, you will know how many points carried for the ticket;

But anyway, go to court hurt nothing, they will not increase your fine or points for sure; worst, nothing changed; better, reduced fine or points;
Best, no guilty or police officer not show up, you win;

I already registered my ticket at the address at the back side of the ticket under option 3; (I told them I want to go to court, They actually didn't ask me which option I want to go, it just a registration for the court date; Mine at 1530 Markham Road (401/Markham))

Usually, the court time will be set at six months later at least ; I heard usually you can make a deal with Police Officer beforehand in the court room;

Don't worry about it too much, it's really only a miner offense; but drive more carefully never hurts;

I will update whatever happen to me, a bitter but very good experience though; And please updates me if you have any news on yours

Don't forget to mention you need a translator in court; (when you fill the registration form for appeal on court, you will see this question) The story I heard is if any one of them (Police Officer or translator ) not show up, you 100% win; If they both show up, please approach the officer and try to negotiate with him to get rid of points, they usually not that restricted if you are nice and learned your lesson;

And looks like your ticket reason is easier than mine to make a cool story to gain the sympathy of judge;

选择3,上庭.到你罚款单上写的法庭地址,告诉他们你选择3,他们会让你填一张表.在表上最重要的一点是在要翻译的栏上打购,然后叫到你的号后,去窗口交表.工作人员会告诉你,上庭日期会邮寄给你,(至少半年后才能等到),然后上庭.有2种选择,(1)庭外和解,不扣点或少扣点,少交钱.(2)上庭应诉.
如果警察不来或翻译不来,你自动胜利.
