I submited my sponsorship application on January 10, 2007
below is the update copy from CIC's website.

We received your application to sponsor xxxx on January 15, 2007.

Dependents listed on the application are: xxxx.

We started processing your application on September 18, 2009.

We sent you a letter on September 18, 2009 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us
