我刚刚得知此论坛, 飞快浏览了整个讨论, 很好!
mytimeline:
Nov., 2002, submitted application;
Jan., 2003, obtained 1st letter;
Nov., 2003, obtained 2nd letter(medical, PCMP, interview and english not needed);
April, 2004, 3rd letter(asked refill out background form);
to last week, my status in website is "in process, "we start process your case from Jan., 3, 2003"".
since last friday, my status in website is "in process, "we start process your case from Jan., 3, 2003; your medical results have been received"".

In fact, I did my medical exam. Jan., 2004. It has been unvalid right now. I do not know why. Hope you guys give some advices! (Sorry, maybe I am the slowest one).

Here is mine:

Jan 2003, submitted my application,

Mar 2003, 1st letter & file number, "In Process"

Dec 2003, 2nd letter & background information form & Medical exam (No finger print check)

Dec 2003, finished medical exam & mailed back the background form

Jan 2004, I send them my MA graduation letter,

Mar 2004, 3nd letter & I send them my passport,

Mar 31, 2004, "in process" changed to "decision made", I got my passport back on the same day.

So don't worry, in my case "in process" didn't change untill I got my passport back.

I am sorry, I did not find my file number. In fact I check my status almost every day. Till last friday(Aril,1), it was just "in process". Last Friday it got "in process and medical results have been received". But the list you mentioned was up to March 30. Do you know how long does it update? We are very similar. Did you have "medical results have been received" in your case?

My case was delayed by background checks, as indicated in CAIPS notes. The lawsuit has nothing to do with me as I applied in 2002, not 2001.

Do not be so negative! Hope your background check will finishv very soon. Did you ask your original colleague to pay a little attention on your matter?
I am no idea how the background check workes. Does canada "FBI" investigate the original unit directly, I mean making phonecall or writing letter to original unit. If no respone immidiately, it would be delay a lot.

今天刚上网查到变为ME received, 但还是in process.（我的体检也已过期）

同时也谢谢Sinonian兄一直关注这个贴子，没让这么好的贴子沉下去！

我看了一下你的case, 我原来的一个朋友和你相似, 体检都过期了还在背景调查. 和他们一起递的朋友早都下来了,他们的还是被没完没了的查着. 不过前段时间总算是都办完了. 碰到这种情况除了等没别的办法. 一般第三封信就应该让你送护照了(我的是护照和背景表格一起让补交的), 你的只让你送背景表格,就说明他们开始你的背景调查了. 我是文科的,怎么都不会有什么可查的东西,所以可能就比较快了.

Our cases were started processing at same day and e-case "medical exam received' appeared last friday. I hope we can get any kind of letter even redoing medical exam letter very soon. It is better than nothing.

我一个朋友状态都改到“medical results have been received”好几（至少3个）个星期了，没有收到任何further information.所以“medical results have been received” means nothing just informing you that "medical results have been received".

You could not get correct conclusions from a single sample. Maybe you can get some information after you read the whole "论坛".

I found my e-case status changed to "medical results receiced" last friday. Today is a new friday. I got it.

No more medical exam, just as soon as possible to send passports and pictures to them.
