Terrasoft is an IT consulting company focusing on developing tailings management system platform. We are currently looking for a junior to intermediate full time Java Developer with 3+ years’ software development work experience to join our talented and innovative team. Terrasoft provides candidate friendly and flexible work environment.

Job Duties:

Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software, Provide production support for systems with medium complexity.

Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related education and/or experience
• 3+ years’ experience as a software developer, developing application with Java
• Experience working with Java 7+ and above
• Experience developing applications with the Spring framework is preferable
• Solid experience with SQL
• Experience working with RESTful Web Services is a plus

Skills:

Required: Java, JSP, J2EE, Java Struts Framework, Spring Framework, Java servlet, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON
Database: Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL database
Web Server: Apache web server, Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat etc.
IDE: MyEclipse or Eclipse

Nice to have:
GIS: Google Map API , ArcView GIS software
Miscellaneous: knowledge of network, firewall, LDAP, MS Active Directory, Kerberos are preferred.

Soft skills required:

• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and work in a team
• Must be capable of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the software development life cycle
• Must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to system development
