面试失败了

2004年那年，我每次面世一次，都在小本子上记下我面世的地址和时间。听别人说一般面世到10都终归有搞定的一次。但是当时我都已经超过10多次了，还是看不到希望。有个网友说，总归比没有面世强多了，有面世就有希望。只要有面世我就去，不管对方公司是大是小，职位是否正好合适，我都去。等我面世到20次的时候，还是看不到希望，有的时候甚至有点绝望，有一部分公司太小，我不喜欢。在这种公司里面做事，我一定呆不长的，当时觉得自己非常的loser，高不成低不就的。等我resume上有6个多月的gap，有部分公司和agent甚至直接问我这段时间在干吗。当时我觉得再找不到工作，就会有更多的雇主嫌弃了，只能说我回国了一次。等到小本子上记上了23还是24个面世的时候，终于一个很好的机会出现了。所以，有面世就有希望，你需要不断寻找更多的希望，那就离成功不远了。

I don't think you have failed the Interview; I would say you already succeed once no matter what;

And just be patient, you never know when they may call you; could be this week; could be next week; don’t you think there is nothing efficient in here except when they are waiting for you bill payment;

This year, the whole market is much better than 2002-2003, (that’s why you see low unemployment rate and interest hike), so you will have plenty chances ahead of you, and be positive, you never know when and where the best is waiting for you;

Let me give you my own story then you will realize why you don’t know when and where the best is for you; I need to get a job at June 2003 to Nov 2003, and I was interviewed by a set of famous companies that I dreamed of, but none of them gave me the chance to get their pay cheque; I almost crushed and very frustrated; some of them are so close, for example, one of them I passed all the interviews but be informed that there is a internal transfer took the position;

Anyway, nothing happened until at last I started to work with my current company just with one interview, and to be frankly, thanks my god all that famous companies didn't hire me, because my current position is much higher paid and good to my career path than any of them, so you never know which one is yours but be positive, there is one for you; The harder you work the better result you will end up with;

And you will find the one you really want;

You have to overcome your nerves in order to get a better position; You should be able to follow up with them if you really want that job;

And you will prevail;

星期五,这一整天我的心都处在忐忑不安的等待中,星期五已经过去了,没有任何消息.面试注定失败了.

如果不申请该职位,也许我的心挺平静,可现在,我的心不能平静,有点难受.

看了半天还是没看懂.

移民到加拿大, 大部分的人都在曲就工作,只有很少的人还在高攀, 有什么好紧张的,应该是面试一次就成一次,所以在申请某一职位时一定要了解该公司的规模, 去得时候要多观察, 要先入为主(这就是所谓的北美经验,呵呵).

别说的太高, 更不能说的太低, 所以最好先听他们的提问, 要听清楚, 没听清一定要追问, 要迅速的判断他们对你的简历的那一个部分感兴趣, 着重谈, 其它的一带而过, 别没听清楚还在胡说, 那失误就太多了.

Interview means that your resume has high lights to attract employer attention. They just use interview to confirm the high lights. If results are satisfactory, you can get the offer.
After getting offer, you have three to six months time to show your real abilities. If everything ok, you become one member in the company finally.
So these three to six months are more important.

我经历了面试的失败,也经历了根本不给面试的机会,但我很感谢我们本地人,臭鱼先生的一番语重心长的话,我找原因,终于机会到了.

My experience with a company is more strange and interesting.
2 days ago, An agent call me again. we had a very bad experience 3 months ago. it was my fault. first of all, I estimated myself too low, so it led to a low salary claim. and then, I signed to accept the offer even with hesitation about relocation. just in two days of my sign, another local company gave me a lower offer which pushed me to give up the 1st one. at that time, the agent was drove crazy by me. who knows this time, she said the company was regreting about the offered salary, and they hope I can think about their position again. the condition is that they will hire me and my wife togather with the salary we ask for, and they also will provide relacation assistance. I am almost moved by these kind words and the so nice attitude of the agent. Fortunatly, woman has clearer mind than man sometimes , my wife is so sure about the answer 'no' and it keep me away from making another big error.

so right now, I don't want to ask for suggestion here, because my wife has given me command as how she always does. and certainly I am not boasting myself. I just give out a example for guys who are searching job. one fail means nothing, anything can happen later and what u need to do is just keep your mind clear whatever it is good or bad.

不懂为什么若选择了"Yes"就是another big error?那个offer不是一个很好的Deal吗?

I have played them once. they give us so "good" deal is just because they can't find a suitable guy. we accept the offer is taking advantage of them. whenever they find another guy, we are on the top of the need-to-be-fired list.

Another reason is I am not comfident. the best salary is the salary matching your ability, I still need time to upgrade my english,terminology and get more familiar to canadian engineering environment.
