最近买了辆二手车,2001 FORD FOCUS SE 4DR. ZETEX 16V. POWER DOOR, AUTOMATIC.
公里数是9,3000公里. 买了后就开始问题不断: 四个轮胎全部都换了,新换电瓶.最后烧掉我$7000刀.可是问题还不是这么简单,最近发现引擎灯亮. 经过一系列学习考察, 排除了油箱盖不紧,引擎阀漏气等原因.经过两次放电消除.可是两天后又开始出现. 现在不知道具体的原因是什么. 鉴于引擎灯亮的原因很多, 现在唯一能做的就是花钱去读码,CT要$40刀,大家有什么好的建议么?

今天去读码,P0401, 是EGR有问题, 可是好象必须到DEALER那里买配套的才行,对么?

What does that mean?

EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation. It is part of the vehicle emmissions system, and is used to reduce combustion temperature and pressure to control Oxides of Nitrogen. There are generally three parts to the EGR system: the EGR valve, an actuator solenoid, and a differential pressure sensor (DPF). These things work together to deliver the correct amount of recirculation based on engine temperature, load, etc. The P0401 code means that OBD detected an insufficient amount of EGR.

SymptomsYou may notice drivability problems such as pinging (a.k.a. pre-ignition knock) when the engine is under load or the vehicle is at higher speeds. There may also be other symptoms.

CausesA code P0401 most likely means one or more of the following has happened:

The DPF (differential pressure) sensor is faulty and needs to be replaced
There is a blockage in the EGR (most likely carbon buildup)
The EGR valve is faulty
The EGR valve may not be opening due to a lack of vaccuum
Possible SolutionsIn fixing this code, it is quite common for people to just replace the EGR valve only to have the OBD code return. The EGR valve is not always the culprit.

Use a vacuum pump and pull the EGR valve open while monitoring engine RPM's. There should be a noticable difference in RPM's with the EGR open
Clean out the EGR valve to remove deposits
Replace the DPF sensor
Replace the EGR valve

今天碰到一个老几，也是2001 FORD FOCUS SE，去年9月份买的，12万公里，光亮如新，5800，他说开到现在没有什么问题！你是怎么衡量价格的？如果再烧掉1000，我气死掉了！！

5800是私人卖？是私人，如果车况好、太值了。

推荐的价12万，是8000。所以我说7000还有1000可用于维护。

如下是狗大哥给的建议,能够告诉我DIY的步骤么?

先清理EGR VALVE和管道里面的积碳, 然后不行的话就得换DPFE SENSOR, FORD车子出P0401的话, DPFE SENSOR的概率很大的, 这个DPFE SENSOR很容易拆装, 可以试着在车坛喊喊救命看是否有人愿意提供FOCUS上的DPFE SENSOR和你做交换实验, 这个DPFE SENSOR大概是$80+TAX, 我的TAURUS换过一个的, 汽车上的电子零件买了不能退的, 所以要确定了再买

再问, 最近要跑一趟长途到OTTAWA, 请问, 如果我不及时修, 路上会不会出问题? 这样使用会对车造成什么损害?

我那车，手闸后上方是个盒子，放平了就是扶手，我打开看里面了，空间很小，只能放点小零碎。正在郁闷呢，LP出个主意，在那扶手盒子里放一卷纸
