Dish Network is the service provider in the state, therefor, Dish Network can not be installed and received within Canada. It's due to the agreement between USA goverment and Canadian goverment. As well, Bell ExpressVu can not be installed and received within USA.

Somehow, you can get your closed friend living in the state, have him sign the contract with Dish Network for one year, US$53/month, 60 English programes + 5 Chinese programes(right now, maybe 9 later). free installation in the state, free devices offered. Then, your friend ship this Dish Network devices to your place, you install it on your own and you make the payment for each month in Canada.

谁用60CM的锅收到过AMC4或T5或G3C,质量多少?
知道60的锅对AMC4来说太小了,但总想废锅利用一下

I was using 55cm dish to receive G3C on FTA CCTV4, quality is from 35% to 40%. However, there is no more FTA cctv4 program since last week. I doubt if G3C decease FTA Chinese programe as well as AMC4.

I could not receive AMC4 with 55cm dish though, the quality is 20% or so. Somebody told me 55cm is too small for AMC4, 76cm is good to go. I don't care about it coz AMC4 will be deceased after August anyway.

I heard this information about chinese FTA would be deceased, however, there is no details information about it. I think FTA CCTV4 will be over coz 台北国际 declare CCTV4 is one of their program.

Update on the G3C.

I finally figure out the reason why I lost CCTV4 for a while on G3C. G3C changes FTA CCTV4 to another TP, the new Freq: 11777, H, SR: 20752. It's the new parameter searched by my FTA receiver. Most of the sate. website still keep the old parameter though.

Let me know if you guys has different new para. on your receiver.

Sorry about that misleading. If I said so, I mean I can only buy bloody cheap linear LNB from China. You know how cheap? Just feel free to seach google China or yahoo China, you will know what is bloody cheap meaning. I bought my system from BJ, it's really a good deal comparing to a Canadian deal.

Be careful, the LNB support bracket in Canada will be different to the dish when you buy it in China.

Correction Update(coz I could not edit my previous post in this forum)
For Canadian Chinese:
天线（DISH+LNB）+ 接收机 + 电视。
或
天线（DISH+LNB）+ 接收卡 + 电脑 (+视频硬件解码卡+电视)。

CCTV4是免费节目, 它是线性化信号, Canada本地的Cir. LNB头不行, you can buy the linear LNB from China or universal LNB locally.

In 加拿大c美^:
1.收看 CCTV4 和 CCTV9 接收P尺寸必符合以下l件:大部分加拿大c美^I直 from 55 cm to 76 cm or even biger size l星接收天(Dish)+ LNBF(LNB)
LNB俗称降频器（也就是高频头），顾名思义就是把频率降低
接收Chinese FTA要用either "线极化" 的or Linear function compatible Universal LNB.


2.1 滴唤邮C(Digital Receiver)/解码器(IRD:Integrated Receiver and Decoder): 即是接收机，又是解码器，如果没有加密模块，就是FTA，加上什么加密模块，就可以用于什么系统. Or Decryption FTA receiver (with some of the scramble system in the memory), you got to update the scramble key or new scramble system following scramble system updating.(Note: 门限要低，而且要有S端子，操作简单,注意电压问题110v in Canada)
In Canada community, BB, pansat and Fortec are most three pop. receivers supported by local testers.
Chinese FTA is good to receive Chinese FTA as CCTV4, but not supported by Ca testers so far.

No more FTA else on 95W so far. My Lao Tou watch CCTV4 whole day long, almost from getting off the bed to getting on the bed. ; ) Just for him, not for me.
I am still watch shaw cable now. Somehow, after everything is stable and peaceful in the sky, I may step into testing, also known as "逼娼为良". ; ))))))

可以一碟四星: 一种方法是, DISH要椭圆的那种, 4个头加一个4IN1 SWITCH.另一种是用MOTOR, 一个30"的DISH.(１８寸的碟太小了, 121W收不到)
常见的是一个30"的DISH放3个头比较容易, 如BLUE的127, 121, 110.

yunbo,我用starchoice椭圆的dish可以接4颗星吧，你试过吗？
恭喜newsgroup,终于接到图像了，这个过程虽然痛苦，但也很有快感吧。

The standard outlet for starchoice is linear quad LNBF. If we add more Linear LNBF as the photos does, it will get the same result.
