大胆修炉头，并请教

炉头有接触不良，拔来插去，这回彻底歇菜。

死马当活马医。见招拆招，破腹解肚挖肠，居然成功地把连接头拖到外面来了...发现一侧的接触铜片已经破缺不全。因为 HomeDepot 卖炉灶，就先去瞧瞧那里有没有这样配件，以前好像一点没有印象。万一没有，还能去别的啥地方吗？

承蒙关心！买来的东西不仅仅是铜片，全套连电线及lugs都在上面了。我就把原来的全拔掉扔了，当然没忘了用原来电线fishing新电线到背后...拔掉原来lugs,新的套上去...不过新买的连线够省的，刚好搭上连接处。

I meant the stove heating element (coil) terminals, rather than cable assembly. The reason your old brass contact was burn is that there was a bad connection between terminal and contact. Check your element terminals, and note the difference on the surface. One is rougher (burn) than the other, it will damage your new contact sooner.

Not sure what kind of chemical solvent works, but sandpapering definitely helps.
Whenhousekeeper cleans heating element tray, the element needs to be taken out from the socket, be aware of putting back the element in the proper position afterwards.
