Anyone tried using 8GB USB drive or Memory Card on card reader to update firmwire?

I just bought a PBO from ME for about $42 after price match and rebate, and a patroit N USB adapter for about $7.5 after price match.

Never mind. I've upgraded it last night with a 2gb memory card on a card reader. Bricked it at first and then recovered it by shorting SW3. Pretty easy and pretty impressed by the little thing.
