金融危机的时候我08年写过一个《房市不要再提，前路几多风雨》，当时多伦多的房价经历了半年的下降，幅度不小，很多高价房如120万的房子当时降到80多万求售，如果买在09年3月之前（08年11月-09年3月），基本上在09年夏天就有40-50%的涨幅。

我希望那120 万的房字能在变诚80万。最近在家服近看房，觉着多伦多的房地产真张风了。

That is what my hubby said. He thinks ppl borrow too much debt.
He is trying to get our current home paid off as quick as we can and put some cash aside. He believes that we will be able to get nice home under 1 million in banbury street within 3 years. I really hope that will come true. If the market really goes down, I plan to buy 2 small properties as rental . Cross finger.

利息如此低的时候还努力还贷款，等于是拿自己的钱去贴补银行，你hubby真是白求恩转世。
现在应该是能借多少借多少，过这村可就没这店了，以后借钱越来越难了。
gta房价从89年后就没有暴涨过，近几年大幅下降的可能性为零。
趁现在利率低赶快下手吧，过两年现在7，80万的房子可能都上百...

Half of our mortgage was at fixed rate 5.4%. This is the reason we put money into the mortgage. We do not plan to pay off all the variable mortgage. We will use the money on stock market or future new home. But I do think real esate market will drop, 15%-20% is what i expect.

各人生活方式不一样。 我到是赞成你先生的观点， 甚至做的过头。 那就是将所有的能节约的钱都用于还房贷。 一则我的房贷固定利息5。05%，我以前的所有投资赚到5%的很少， 更不要说RRSP 08年时折半， 总值现在还没有恢复。

二则， 我希望过一种无债一身轻的生活， 不期望赚钱的大喜， 也不愿...

Like you said people are different. He is a very consertive investor. Our stock return has been very stable , 13% yearly growth in past 12 years. He just want to have comfortable life nothing luxury.

在股票市场上可以过去12年能保持13%的增长率，可以绝对算得上是高手了。如果是我一定尽可能的把钱投入股市， 几年后mortgage不过是个零头而已。

My hubby is average stock investor. Comparing to his idol ---mad money host whose average growth is24% annually, his stock growth is not fancy.
We started small base in our stock, our goal is to make 500k stock account within next few years , in that way we could have big asset growth like those real estate investors.

wow, 13% yearly growth in past 12 years, this return can beat most fund manager. What's kind of stock he bought.

So if he invested $100000 13 year...

He did not have 100k 13 years ago, he was a poor MBA graduate. And we used some money from his stock when we bought first home. 500k is our next target. He invest 8-9 stock in any given time. He rarely buy high risk stock, many stocks are tradational .Every stock is in different industry. He spent lots of hours to study the market and companies.

I invested in the stock market also, I found that it is so hard to make big money. Sometime I may make 10,000 a month, but next month I may lose 8000,...

Watch the mad money show. That guy is really good. My hubby watch his show and use his philosophy for years. Even me I learn a lot from that show.

I think it is on channel 79. You can watch online. It is on everyday for 30munutes. Very very wise guy.
