As part of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)’s “A World of Experiences” public awareness week, this full-day workshop is helping to address the problems immigrants face when trying to find employment in their chosen profession. Living the Dream, facilitated by world-renowned motivational speaker Mike Lipkin, will bring together up to 500 immigrants, teaching self-marketing techniques that will help them launch their career in Canada. This free full-day workshop, generously sponsored by Deloitte, is open to all immigrants who have not yet found their first employment in their profession in Canada. Participants to the program will learn: • How to focus their efforts for maximum effectiveness. • How to understand and develop their "Unique Value Proposition". • How to understand and develop their unique "Strategy for Success". • How to act and communicate in a way that builds confidence and rapport with others. • How to use every experience as an opportunity to learn and grow as a valued professional. • How to create a personal aura of strength and possibility that attracts opportunity to them. Every participant will receive a copy of Mike's newest book and CD set, as well as the opportunity to network with hundreds of others.
